A joyous birthday celebration for Gunter and Joanne Matschuck

Gunter and Joanne Matschuck celebrated their birthdays at their lovely residence in Ayala Alabang Village. The event was attended by more than 100 cherished friends whom the couple has treasured for decades. Tables were elegantly arranged, extending from the main living room through the den and lanai to their expansive garden.

As guests arrived, Joanne had prepared a delightful array of appetizers, while Gunter ensured a selection of juices, wines, and spirits was available. The musical ambiance was provided by Marcy David and his band, featuring talented male and female vocalists.

Guests mingled, conversed, and captured memories with photographs for their personal albums.

The buffet featured an array of delectable dishes, including lechon sourced from a reputable caterer and other specialties prepared in Joanne's kitchen, complemented by a variety of desserts and cakes.

After dinner, the hostess invited everyone to witness the celebrants blow out the candles on several cakes. This was followed by heartfelt messages of love and admiration from family members, Gunter's German friends, and representatives from his civic clubs, particularly the Rotary Club of Manila. Gunter also took the microphone to express his gratitude to all their guests, praising his loving and devoted wife, Joanne, as his guardian angel. Joanne, in turn, thanked everyone for joining their joint birthday celebration.

The festivities continued past midnight, with guests joyfully dancing and enjoying wine and spirits.
