Lady Altas extend winning streak to 4
The sizzling start of University of Perpetual Help in the NCAA Season 100 women's volleyball tournament continues as the Lady Altas demolished the Arellano University Lady Chiefs, 25-12, 25-15, 21-25, 26-24, at the LPU Gym in Intramuros, Manila on Friday.
Rookie Jemalyn Menor led Perpetual Help with 19 points as Shaila Omipon, Winnie Bedanna and Pauline Reyes added 13 points apiece.
Omipon also recorded 10 digs while Menor added 8 receptions.
The Sandy Rieta-coached team, looking for its first women's volleyball championship in the NCAA, raised its record to 4-0 in the tournament.
