Rubilen Amit strikes anew, rules Las Vegas Open
MANILA, Philippines — Filipina cue artist Rubilen Amit ruled the Kamui Las Vegas Women's Open after defeating Chinese Han Yu in the final, 4-2, 4-1, 3-4, 4-2, at the Rio All Suite Hotel on Sunday (Manila time).
Amit bagged a $22,500 prize money or P1.3 million for ruling the 64-player field.
The 43-year-old thus made it a double conquest in Las Vegas after claiming the Women's Challenge of Champions title.
