Siesta Key Beach Named USA’s Finest Beach Escape & 4th Best Globally

Tripadvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Awards has named Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota County, Florida, as the number 1 beach in the USA for the fourth time.

Known for its powder-soft quartz sand, Siesta Key Beach was also ranked as 4th best beach in the entire world.

The awards are selected based on over a billion reviews of travellers’ first-hand experience on Tripadvisor. In 2024, Siesta Key Beach was given nearly 7,000 5-star reviews by visitors, giving it the number 1 Beach in the USA status.

With two and a half miles of pristine white sand, crystal blue waters, iconic lifeguard stations and year-round sunshine, Siesta Key Beach continues to attract visitors from across the world, but the paradise aesthetic is not the only thing urging visitors to vote for the award-winning beach.

It’s also recognised for its beach amenities, such as on-duty lifeguards, equipment rental – including free beach wheelchair rental, ample parking, concession stands, outdoor showers, playgrounds, volleyball courts and picnic shelters.
