The View from VT: Hitman Update, A Vikings Dream Coming True, and Aaron Jones’ Future

Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: March 1st, 2025
1) Lo and Behold — There’s a Harrison Smith Update: Seems like a true coin flip. The Hitman can still play strong football even if his elite days are behind him. Presumably, there’s going to be an update about his status within the next couple weeks since free agency is soon to get started.

2) A Vikings Dream Will Finally Come True: Best not to count the purple chickens before they’ve hatched. Nevertheless, a positive word from one of the team’s man decision makers. Fortifying the defensive tackle position would go a long way in pushing the Flores defense even higher.
3) Aaron Jones’ Future Takes Shape: He’s a very good running back who gets a ton of respect from both teammates and coaches. The only downside with Mr. Jones is that he’s older and has a bit of a history of injury. Even still, bringing the RB1 back makes a ton of sense, especially if the Vikings snag a talented runner in the draft.

4) Vikings Put “You Know Who” in Their Draft Meeting List: Gotta do due diligence on a special talent, especially since there’s a (tiny) chance he slips down the board. Even better, the young player would address a major need for the Vikings, so this is one to keep an eye on.
5) Vikings Now Have 2 Major Trade Targets: Truth be told, the Vikings won’t be able to get too frisky when it comes to pulling off trades in March. The 2025 cluster of draft picks isn’t ample. Seeing the GM do a single deal, though, wouldn’t be a surprise.

Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
