TNT back in PBA finals

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson sparked TNT's fourth-quarter charge to beat Rain or Shine, 97-92, and book the first PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup Finals seat on Friday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The leading candidate for Best Import awardu nleashed 17 of his game-high 42 points in the last period, where the Tropang Giga outscored the Elasto Painters, 31-25, to win the semifinal series, 4-1.
Calvin Oftana knocked down a triple with 39.7 seconds remaining to give TNT the needed cushion, 93-86.
Oftana finished the game with a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Rey Nambatac also scored 12 points and dished eight assists for TNT, which is eyeing a second straight crown after ruling the Governors' Cup late last year.
TNT will face the winner of the Barangay Ginebra-NorthPort semifinal series, which is ongoing as of posting time.
Deon Thompson led Rain or Shine with 34 points, Adrian Nocum added 13, while Andrei Caracut 10.
