UAAP volley: La Salle bounces back, stops Adamson
MANILA, Philippines — The De La Salle Lady Spikers rebounded with a 25-21, 26-24, 25-20 win over the Adamson Lady Falcons in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Center on Saturday.
Alleiah Malaluan fired 16 points including the clincher to lead the Lady Spikers, who recovered from their season-opening 23-25, 21-25, 18-25 loss to the defending champs NU Lady Bulldogs last Sunday.
Angel Canino also came through with 15 points as Mikole Reyes tossed 15 excellent sets.
Shai Nitura banged 16 points this time after pouring a rookie record 33 markers in their opening win against Ateneo.
